SUMMARY

The Program Director will advance the youth and it’s community by providing resources and opportunities to thrive. Committed to serving poverty-stricken families, adults and children with humanitarian programs and resources that include education, family support, food programs and local community engagement events. The Program Director will govern existing corporate sponsorships and partnerships, while further building and establishing awareness and support.

A forward thinker who can provide leadership and direction for the afterschool meal program, nutrition services, community engagement and outreach and fundraising. This role translates strategic practices into initiatives that help drive the organization forward with measurable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Nutrition Services
Coordinate new staff training
Maintain production records
Create menus for partnerships
Monitoring state/USDA waivers for compliance
Secure all CN Labels or Product Formulation Statements
Program Ambassador
Filing organizing documents
Site Information sheets
Monthly/Weekly Consolidation sheets
Doordash checklist
Website data management
Develop New Community Partnerships
Prepare and submit program applications
Train and manage new site staff
Presentations for prospective/new clients
Ensure Partnership Site Compliance & Training
Implement New Strategic Programs
Communicate with site staff to plan events & coordinate distribution
Policy Development
Strategic Planning
Programmatic reporting, recordkeeping and analysis
Identify and complete grant applications for funding
REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with After-School Programs
Experience in Program Development and program funding
Strong track record of building relationships and collaborating with other community agencies.
Ability to relate effectively with children, families, community members, and staff of diverse backgrounds.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Pay close attention to detail
Research and assess family needs
Autonomous, self-starter that follows through with minimal continual direction
Experience with project management
Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate partnerships and vendors needs that include evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Mask mandates have been lifted, but TBF and it's employees must adhered to request from our Vendors to wear masks when at their facility even if vaccinated. Employees also must be willing to take COVID test upon request, if not vaccinated.
