Program Description

Program Purpose: The VETGUARD VACCINATION Program is designed to provide essential veterinary services, including wellness checks and vaccinations, to support companions in financially challenged households. Our goal is to ensure that these support companions receive the necessary preventive care to remain healthy, regardless of their guardians' financial circumstances. This program is committed to reducing barriers to veterinary care for families experiencing financial hardship, with services provided at no cost or at a discounted rate to eligible households.

Program Overview

1. Veterinary Care and Preventive Services:

The VETGUARD VACCINATION Program provides a variety of essential veterinary services to ensure that support companions are protected from preventable diseases and remain in good health. The program offers the following services:

Wellness Checks: Comprehensive health examinations by licensed veterinarians.
Vaccinations: Protection against common illnesses, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus.
Deworming: Treatment for internal parasites, ensuring a healthier support companion.
Heartworm Medication: Prevention and treatment of heartworm disease.
Rabies Shots: Compliance with local laws requiring rabies vaccination for all support companions.

2. Financial Assistance for Families:
By providing these services at no cost to those who qualify, we aim to relieve financial strain on families, especially those struggling with unemployment, low income, or high medical expenses. The program allows guardians to ensure their support companions' health without sacrificing their own financial stability.

3. Partnership with Veterinarians:
We are proud to partner with volunteer veterinarians who provide their time and expertise to ensure the well-being of support companions. This collaboration ensures that high-quality, professional veterinary care is accessible to families in need, without the burden of financial stress.
